Posh and Polished Nail Boutique is an upscale nail salon specializing in all facets of nail care and nail enhancements for all gender identities. Our mission is to provide a high-quality nail care experience in a luxurious, posh setting.

I’d like a logo that represents luxury and elegance. While the business is a nail salon, I’d like to refrain from an overly feminine logo because our goal is to cater to all gender identities. “Posh & Polished” should be prominently displayed - “Nail Boutique” can be listed in smaller font if you think that would work better for the design. If there is a way to incorporate a slick play on a nail polish bottle, nail polish brush, or fingernail into the logo while still maintaining a sleek, elegant design, that would be cool, but not a requirement. There really isn’t much need to dive deeply into the lyrics of this piece, as they are more or less standard rap braggadocio. However, in comparison to other rappers, Jack Harlow doesn’t come off as the threatening or violent type. 

What his boasting is rather most pointedly centered on is the idea of the vocalist being rich and therefore superior to his peers. Also, despite coming off as a playa, Jack reveals that he likes ‘girls who are down to earth’. And that’s actually an important thought to keep in mind, as it appears Harlow’s shtick is sorta like characterizing himself as a humbler – albeit still conceited – music star.

Meanwhile the title doesn’t seem to have any specific meaning but is rather a phrase derived from the opening line of the first verse.

Which Type Of Nail Gun Or Nailer Do You Need For The Job?

Unlike traditional nails, brads are thin, wire-like fasteners with t-shaped heads. Generally measuring 0.0403 inches in diameter, these 18-gauge nails range between ⅝” to 2-½” inches long, depending on your nailer’s manufacturer. For example, my Porter Cable brad nailer only accepts nails up to 1-¼” long.

The gauge of a nail refers to its thickness. It might seem backwards, but the thinner the nail, the higher the gauge. For example, a 23-gauge pin nail is thinner than an 18-gauge brad nail.

But it makes sense when you think about it this way: gauge measureshow many nails fit within an inch. So for18-gauge nails, you can only fit 18 per inch, but with smaller23-gauge nails, you can fit 23 per inch.

A nail’sgauge also corresponds to the size of the holeleft in the wood, meaning an 18-gauge nail leaves a smaller hole than a 15-gauge nail.

Many do-it-yourselfers feel the small holes left by brad nails are barely noticeable, and you don’t need to hide them with wood filler or putty. However, for certain jobs, especially painted projects, I believe filling these tiny holes gives the project a more polished look.

Brad nailers are most commonly used for light-duty finish carpentry tasks. Finish carpentry is the last step, where you add the finishing touches to a project.

I've been using this brand of nail polish for the past 10 years and lemme tell you it is just sooooo amazing. The colours are vibrant, it dries super quick and my nails look gorgeous.

First time using this product and I will have to see how long it last without chipping, but I’m really excited about how easy it was to apply. The brush is perfect size for edging and only took two coats to achieve this color. Used Sally Hansens “Dries Instantly” top coat, which I LOVE.

Beautiful, vibrant red. It's not sparkly, more of a velvety sheen. It doesn't chip or peel off as fast as one OPI red I wore prior to this one. Two coats and it is opaque.

Ever since I started doing my nails at home with Olive and June, my toddler's also become interested in doing her nails. While I was at Target I noticed a kids' nail polish, Piggy Paint, and decided to pick it up.

First of all - what exactly is Piggy Paint Nail Polish? Piggy Paint is an all natural nail polish made for kids. Piggy Paint is non-toxic, odorless and free of all harsh chemicals.

The nail polish comes in a variety of colors that are both regular colors and sparkles. Each individual paint is $4.99 but if you get a 4 pack it's only $9.99. I got the 4 pack which had red, sparkly pink, blue and purple in it.

Polish Me Silly 24 Hour Glow Nail Polish

When I opened the package I was at first skeptical of the nail polish. The package says that the nail polish is water based, so I assumed it would be super watered down and not be very bright.

Little A was so excited when she saw the nail polish! She decided she wanted to do blue first, but then decided to do one hand blue and the other pink. I did one layer on each finger and was impressed with how vibrant the colors actually ended up being. The layer wasn't very thick but was plenty enough!

The box said the nail polish would dry after about 5 minutes but that wasn't the case. I tried to keep Little A still and hands flat while they dried, but 5 minutes it she was ready to show off her manicure to Dad. This ended up with her smudging most of the paint and the manicure ended up lasting about a day. Thankfully it does wash out easy so her clothes weren't ruined by any of the smudges.

What The Cool Kids Do

The next manicure we decided to do purple, and this time I grabbed my blow dryer to use. I dried her fingers for about 2 minutes with the blow dryer and the nail polish was completely dry! The majority of the manicure ended up lasting about 5 days, and we ended up having to remove the nail polish when A wanted to change colors.

Piggy Paint can be removed with a little rubbing alcohol if it's removed within 1-3 days. After that, it becomes harder to remove. For A's longer manicures, I'll use a little nail brush dipped in a little nail polish remover (I use Olive and June's) and that quickly removes any leftovers.

Overall we love Piggy Paint! My daughter loves being able to have her nails done and I love that it's not messy and it's safe for her. I do wish they had more variety of colors available in stores, but so far she seems pretty happy with the 4 colors we got in our variety pack.
